FAQs

  • Before your first appointment I will hop on a call with you to game plan where we will meet, and what kind of space we will need for the session! It is most helpful for you to wear comfortable clothes you can move in, and have a space large enough for a physical therapy table to fit. If you do not have space for a table no worries! We can improvise!

  • I do not accept insurance and I am a purely cash-based provider. I will supply a superbill following a session that you may submit to your health insurance provider that contains all the necessary information. Some companies do reimburse for cash-based services!

  • Pelvic floor physical therapy can look very much like any other form of physical therapy! It also can involve a pelvic muscle exam (at your request - different than an exam performed by a gynecologist) and re-educating, lengthening, and strengthening the muscles of your pelvic floor. Pelvic floor PT benefits those who struggle with low back pain, incontinence, pelvic pain, hip pain, are pre/postpartum, have pelvic organ prolapse, diagnosed with an abdominal cancer, received abdominal or pelvic surgery, have endometriosis, and so much more. I treat the whole person and will not hyperfocus on any one body region, but take all aspects of health into account. As pelvic floor PT can be extremely personal and private, I will always take into account your comfort level with discussing and assessing anything regarding pelvic floor.

  • I would like to be contacted within 24 hours of canceling an appointment. For any appointments canceled in less than 24 hours notice, a $25 cancellation fee will be required. If you no show an appointment, the full cost of the appointment of $150 for PT sessions or $100 for wellness sessions will be required, simply due to the fact of time it takes for me to pack and drive to you. I always send out reminder texts either the Friday before Monday appointments or at least the day before an appointment is scheduled to mitigate this from happening!
